Monthly Maintenance Fee

​$7.50 unless the minimum $500 Average Ledger Balance is maintained or if the account is enrolled in electronic statement delivery and does not receive paper statements, the monthly maintenance fee will be waived.

​$4.00 per month

​Additional Transaction Items Fee

​$0.50 per transaction, in excess of first 50 checks paid, checks deposited, deposit tickets (whether physical or created virtually in connection with an ATM, mobile, remote check deposit or other electronic deposit), ACH credits and ACH debits​

How do I open Non-Profit Checking account?

Can I get a debit card with my organization’s logo?

Absolutely. You can request an M&T Custom Card with your organization’s logo, imagery or photo of your choice. 

There is no monthly maintenance fee if requirements are met, but other transaction and service fees, including insufficient funds (NSF) and overdraft fees, may apply.
Transaction items are: deposit tickets (teller or virtual), checks paid, checks deposited, ACH credits received (not generated by the customer), and ACH debits received (not generated by the customer). ATM cash deposits are not considered a transaction item.
Electronic statement delivery is available to customers enrolled in M&T Online Banking for Business, and the monthly maintenance fee discounts/waivers noted above apply only if the account is enrolled in Electronic Statement and Document Delivery (and is not receiving paper statements) at the end of the month for which the monthly maintenance fee is being calculated.
Use of the M&T Custom Card design service is subject to program Terms and Conditions and Image Guidelines.
