M&T’s Paycheck Protection Program portal is closed and we are no longer accepting applications. As of May 4, 2021, funding for the program has been exhausted.

On May 4, 2021, the U.S. Small Business Administration announced that the Paycheck Protection Program funding has been exhausted. We are so proud to have been part of this program that provided much needed aid to so many small businesses.

If you were unable to secure a PPP loan, know there are other options available to you. We have outlined SBA programs below and we invite you to call your banker for other opportunities through M&T.

NOTICE: Eligible eating establishments have until 8 p.m. EST, Monday, May 24, to submit applications to the Restaurant Revitalization Fund.

COVID19- Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)

EIDL is available to small businesses, qualified agricultural cooperatives, small aquaculture businesses and most private non-profit organizations that experienced an impact to meeting financial obligations and operating expenses due to a disaster.

Proceeds of the loan to be used for working capital and normal operating expenses.

Targeted Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Advance

Advance funds of up to $10,000 will be available to applicants in low-income communities who previously received an EIDL Advance for less than $10,000, or those who applied but received no funds due to lack of available program funding.

Applicants do not need to take any action.

The SBA is reaching out to those who qualify.

Shuttered Venue Operators Grant (SVOG)

SVOG was established to aid hard-hit small businesses, nonprofits, and venues who have shuttered their doors due to the pandemic. 

Eligible applicants may qualify for SVOG equal to 45% of their gross earned revenue, with the maximum amount available for a single grant award of $10 million.
