How It Works

  1. Contract with M&T Bank's preferred armored courier services vendor. We will facilitate the interaction between you and the courier, and they will install their smart safe at your business location(s)
  2. Deposit cash into the safe throughout the day and receive validated bill denominations to reduce counterfeit risk
  3. Count on safe pickup of your cash and physical verification of the deposits according to your chosen pickup schedule with your armored courier service. For qualified customers with the advanced funds option,​ same-day credit will be posted to yo​ur account for deposits with an end-of-day cutoff prior to 7pm ET (excluding weekends and holidays)

M&T's Remote Safe Deposit services are provided subject to M&T's standard treasury management agreements, terms and conditions, election forms, fees and other documents. Prior to M&T providing the Remote Safe Deposit services, you will need to enter into a service agreement with Brinks Armored for Brink’s safe deposit services, which include safe deposit pickups, safe deposit processing, reports and safe deposit content transportation to M&T. The Cash Manager safe is provided by Brinks, subject to Brink's service agreement. M&T is not responsible for providing any of Brink's services, including the Cash Manager safe.
