How to Receive Money

Simply log in to M&T's online banking or mobile app and select Send Money with Zelle® to get started.

Enroll in Zelle® with the U.S. mobile number or email address where the money was sent.


Once you've completed the one-time enrollment process, you can begin receiving money from people you know and trust.

Must have a bank account in the U.S. to use Zelle. Transactions typically occur in minutes between enrolled users. If a recipient is not enrolled with Zelle, it could take one to three business days to receive the money once the enrollment is completed.
