Lock Your M&T Debit or Credit Card
You can temporarily lock your M&T card if you have misplaced it but aren't ready to report it lost or stolen.
Temporarily lock your card.
Misplaced your M&T debit or credit card? Temporarily lock it while you look for it. Locking your M&T card means that all new purchases and ATM transactions will be blocked until your card is unlocked.
Follow these steps to lock your card:
- Log in to Online Banking and select "Temporarily Lock/Unlock a Card" from the Services Menu
- Log in to the M&T Mobile App, select "Card Services" from the Menu, and select "Temporarily Lock/Unlock a Card"
