M&T Supplier Diversity Program
The M&T Supplier Diversity program identifies and promotes the inclusion of diverse suppliers in the procurement process.
Doing Business with M&T
We at M&T focus our efforts on “Understanding What’s Important”®. This is more than just our motto, it’s how we do business, and we expect the same from our suppliers. We believe that strong partnerships with our suppliers are imperative to our ability to support the banking needs of our customers.
Partnerships with a large and diverse array of suppliers help us support not only our customers, but our shareholders, employees and the communities in which we live. The quality of services and products provided to M&T by these suppliers has a direct correlation to the quality of services and products we provide to our customers.
We continue to pursue and improve relationships with suppliers that provide the best combination of quality, capability, support, and price to achieve our goals. Our supplier selection process is stringent and allows us to partner with suppliers that meet our specific needs. We actively manage our suppliers and monitor their ongoing performance to promote optimal relationships for M&T and our clients.
M&T strives for diversity and inclusion in all aspects of our business.
With the support of the Diversity and Inclusion Council, M&T is committed to diversifying our supplier network. In accordance with M&T’s Supplier Diversity Policy, we track our engagement of Minority Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, SBA 8A, Small Disadvantaged Business, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, HUB Zone, Veteran Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran, LGBT, Alaskan Native, Disabled and Small Business.
